Here is a pic of the brew after three weeks in the bottle. YUMMY! I have never used these malts before and I really like the results. The grainy pilsner taste really goes well in the porter. The carafa really came through as well. I was worried only have one dark malt, as normally I would go with a chocolate and a black malt, even brown malt sometimes, but the carafa seems to have those flavors wrapped up in one. Compared to the guiness extra foreign stout I was drinking last night, I would take this porter any day. If I had a do over I would up the pilsner and carahell and take out the extract. Highly recommend this brew, and cheers to Rivet for provided some nice malts.

If doing again I would recommend taking out the amber LME i used, try this:

6 pounds pilsner
2 pounds vienna
.75- 1 pound carahell
.85 pounds carafa II
